I put together a quick video to show how the carputer works. I always laugh when I see videos people make of their setups because they ALWAYS sound ridiculously nerdy, but mine is no exception, and I was kind of doing it on the fly, so there’s a lot of “uhhhs” and “errhmmms” and useless junk (didn’t bother editing the video either). This is my carputer in action. Using a program called DashCommand I mocked up a skin that imitates the Nissan GTR head unit. It pulls live data from the RX8 ecu. You can see my full build here: www.rx8club.com
